Yes, we install air exchangers, but only if the ducts are already in place.

Are oil heating systems still permitted in Quebec and Gatineau?
In recent years, governments have implemented strict restrictions regarding oil-based heating systems due to their high environmental impact.
Regulations in Effect in Quebec
✔ Since December 31, 2023, it is forbidden to install a new oil heating system in residential buildings.
✔ Since December 31, 2024, the use of an oil heating system as the primary heating source in an existing building has been banned.
✔ Homeowners are encouraged to replace their oil system with a heat pump or an electric system to reduce their carbon footprint and benefit from government incentives.
Gatineau Specifics
✔ The city of Gatineau follows the same regulations as the Quebec government. It is advisable to replace your oil system as soon as possible to avoid future compliance issues.
✔ Hydro-Québec and several government programs offer financial incentives to help homeowners transition to a more ecological and economical heating solution.
